Description

The seeds can be planted upon receipt. This is a trailer perennial in the tropics and can live indefinitely in warm climates. It's a vine so it needs either something to grow up, like a fence or trellis, or something to trail down, like a balcony. It can get huge, with leaves up to a foot across and vines 30 feet long. You can grow this plant in a hanging pot and let the pot hang outside in the summer and bring it in the winter in temperate climates. Nick the seedcoat and soak until it swells up. This vine grows in forests, so it needs good rich soil. Mix a good potting soil with 1/2-1/3 of Black Cow composted manure. It will get flowers on it the second year and should bloom twice a year in a sunny location.
