Hibiscus Growing Tips
It is important to provide your hibiscus with plenty of water. Most problems relating to hibiscus can be traced to excessive drying of the soil in which they are grown. Hibiscus are very picky about what you fertilize them with. They don't need very much Phosphorous and they demand high quantities of Potassium. Typical hibiscus fertilizers have numbers like 9-3-12, 10-4-12, or 12-4-18. Be sure to water well before applying any granular fertilizers. Osmocote 17-6-10 +minors (or 18-6-12) is a good way to provide a constant source of nutrients.
